I think I even checked it out from the library in hardcover but never ended up reading it. I remember want to read Hanan al-Shaykh‘s retelling of One Thousand and One Nights when it came out last year. ![]() ![]() ![]() In an attempt to keep my book spending to a minimum, I frequently use Overdrive to check out books from the local library to read on my Kindle.
